Junaid Jamshed beaten up at Islamabad Airport


Junaid Jamshed beaten up at Islamabad Airport Singer turned Islamic preacher Junaid Jamshed got assaulted by a an angry crowd at the Benazir Bhutto International Airport. The incident happened on Saturday night, following which controversies began like a rapid fire on social media. A handful of people chanted slogans against the preacher, claiming he had committed blasphemy. They struck several blows and then momentarily released Jamshed, only to attack him again. “We have been looking for you,” one male voice is heard saying in the footage. “Hit him, him him,” they shouted. Jamshed maintained silence for the most part and offered the crowd to have a ‘decent talk’ as the men confronted him. Jamshed then took refuge in the airport’s arrival lounge. Many condemn the attack on social media.
